Iran is one of the leading producers of Sulphur globally, with a daily production exceeding 2 million tons. Sulphur is used in various medications for treating skin, fungal, and joint disorders. Sulphur compounds are effective in treating respiratory diseases and rheumatoid arthritis and are also used as laxatives and disinfectants.

Export Opportunities for Iranian

Sulphur India, China, and Pakistan are the primary buyers of Iranian Sulphur, which is exported through the port of Bandar Abbas. The fact that most of this Sulphur is exported in raw form points to the need for developing domestic processing industries to increase the product's value.
