Zoober
Zoober is a proudly Iranian brand born out of innovation, health-focused values, and a unique blend of traditional wisdom and modern science. Our journey began in 2018 at the Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai, where our founder was introduced to the concept of black garlic by Mr. Shinichi Kashiwazaki at the Japan pavilion.
Captivated by the health benefits and rich flavor of black garlic—and leveraging prior experience in fermented beverages such as kombucha—we embarked on a two-year R&D journey. This led to the successful design, construction, and patent of Iran’s first industrial, automated black garlic fermentation machine, inspired by advanced Japanese methodologies.
The final product, featuring a smooth, umami-rich taste and premium quality, was officially unveiled at the iFood Expo Shiraz 2019. Today, our black garlic is marketed under the brands Zoober, Black Gold, and Royal.

Behroozi Food Industries, the producer behind Zoober, was established with a mission to improve public health by offering natural alternatives to unhealthy beverages. Since 2008, our research and development team—comprising experts from both academia and industry—has developed fermented herbal drinks like kombucha, based on principles of Iranian traditional medicine.
Our facility operates under the supervision of the Iran Food and Drug Organization and is a registered member of the Global Kombucha Manufacturers Association.

Zoober is a proudly Iranian brand born out of innovation, health-conscious values, and a deep respect for traditional wisdom and modern science. The journey began in 2018 at the Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai, where the founder, during a visit to the Japanese pavilion, was introduced to the concept of black garlic by Mr. Shinichi Kashiwazaki.
Inspired by its health potential and unique taste—and drawing on experience producing fermented kombucha drinks—the team began a two-year journey of research and development. This resulted in the design and patent of Iran’s first industrial and fully automated black garlic fermentation device, based on Japanese processing methods for premium quality and taste.
The product was first unveiled at the iFood Expo Shiraz 2019, and has since been launched under the brand names Zoober, Black Gold, and Royal.
