Held in Tehran at Shahid Beheshti University on January 9, 2010, this event highlighted the company's commitment to food safety and quality. A letter of appreciation from Dr. Morteza Shahidzadeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Development Fund of Iran, and Dr. Mohammad Hashem Rahmati, Scientific Secretary of the Conference, praised the dedication of Chin Chin's CEO, Hasan Hajjarian, and the entire team. The letter acknowledged their efforts in producing high-quality, healthy food and their role in maintaining a dynamic economy.

 

The conference, in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Veterinary and Agricultural Jihad, is recognized as one of the most prestigious scientific events in the country. It covers a wide range of topics including Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Management, New Technologies, Watershed Management, Plant Breeding, Horticultural Sciences, Livestock, Fisheries, Medicinal Plants, Environmental Sciences, Rural Development, and Agricultural Engineering. Chin Chin's Journey and Product Expansion Established in November 1974 in Mashhad as a private joint stock company, Chin Chin began its journey by producing tomato paste, compote, tomato juice, juices, and ketchup in 1977.

By 1982, the company expanded its product line to include various jams, quickly gaining popularity among Iranian consumers. Responding to growing demand, Chin Chin opened a new factory in 1993, increasing its production capacity and introducing new technologies. This expansion included the production of eggplant canned caviar, canned green peas, and canned beans, which have become top sellers.

Creative Advertising and Digital Presence

Chin Chin distinguishes itself from competitors through its focus on creative advertising across television, radio, media, press, and digital social networks. The company’s Instagram page features unique content and practical cooking and lifestyle tips, catering to its online audience.

In October 2019, Chin Chin was named the popular brand of the year in the tomato paste and canned categories at the country’s popular brand festival, based on an online survey with over 2.5 million votes.

At a ceremony held at Sharif University, Farzin Fardis, a member of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of digital presence in understanding consumer mindsets and maintaining brand status. Chin Chin's active engagement on social networks contributed to its recognition as the most popular brand of 2019 for the second consecutive year.
